We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This key role involves providing expert technical assistance to clients worldwide, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to trading applications and exchange connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to support requests and enquiries from clients, ensuring timely resolutions to their queries.
  • Actively monitor and respond to critical system alerts, utilizing strong analytical skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support customers in resolving issues related to order management, risk management, exchange market data and exchange connectivity.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of complex trade histories, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Work directly with new customers to coordinate the deployment and configuration of our trading applications, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Manage the distribution and installation of software enhancements and upgrades, maintaining optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with various exchanges and software engineers to test and conform new software releases, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Liaise with our global offices to provide 24-hour customer support, ensuring continuous coverage.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Linux OS and Linux-based server applications, including proficiency in command line tools such as grep, sed and awk.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform complex log file analysis, driving issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, making timely decisions that drive business outcomes.
  • Enjoy working with and exploring new technologies related to low-latency and algorithmic trading strategies, staying up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Effective communication skills to communicate ideas, proposals, or solutions to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences, fostering collaboration and shared understanding.
