Sustainability Manager Job Description
At our organization, we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment. We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team.

We are a fast-growing startup in Singapore that specializes in sustainability technology and artificial intelligence. Our mission is to enable companies to become leaders in sustainability by providing innovative solutions. We work with buyers and suppliers across the global supply chain to transform the way they execute their sustainability programs. Our goal is to increase the positive impact of sustainability teams on people and the planet.

We are backed by key ecosystem players, including INSEAD's AI Venture Lab and EnterpriseSG. This support allows us to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the field of sustainability.

The role of the Sustainability Manager will be critical in helping us achieve our goals. Key responsibilities include:
  • Engaging with clients (global brands) to secure their supply chains using our platform.
  • Developing new solutions and features alongside our technology team, integrating sustainability expertise with technology.
Key qualifications for this role include:
  • A broad range of practical experience in sustainability or environmental, social, and governance (ESG). Examples of previous roles include sustainability consulting and in-house sustainability positions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Earth Sciences, or a related field. Technical work experience in sustainability is also valued.
  • 2-5 years of working experience in broad-based but practical sustainability roles.
  • Strong communication skills, both internal and external, as well as the ability to speak directly and independently to senior managers.
