Funeral Service Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Funeral Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our funeral service team, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation of deceased individuals, preparing coffins, and performing various tasks during the funeral process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection and transportation of deceased individuals
  • Preparation of coffins and encoffining
  • Loading and unloading of heavy items/coffins
  • Assisting with funeral rites, closing of caskets, and guiding bereaved families
  • Driving of funeral hearses
  • Assisting funeral advisors during the funeral process
  • Maintaining tidiness of company vehicles and premises

Requirements:

  • Class 3/3A driving license
  • Able to lift heavy weights (up to 25kg) and perform physical work
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to do shift work and work overtime when needed
  • Candidates should be comfortable with holding joss sticks, close contact with the deceased, etc.
