Job Title: System Integration Specialist

 

The role of a System Integration Specialist involves the installation, maintenance and servicing of various security systems. This includes general security systems, alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems.

As a System Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting problems encountered on site, diagnosing and resolving issues related to network connectivity, server performance, and communication between security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance and servicing of security equipment
  • Troubleshoot problems encountered on site
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, server performance, and communication between security systems
  • Provide feedback to management on issues faced on the ground
  • Perform routine maintenance and firmware updates on servers, network devices, and security system software

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Information Technology) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Operational Technology/Information Technology industry
  • Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol
  • In-depth knowledge in CCTV, Access Control and System Server etc.
  • Hands-on experience in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be an added advantage
  • IT Certification in windows system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies will be an added advantage
  • Good communication skills and positive working attitude
  • Candidate must possess a Class 3 driving licence
