As a senior collections leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the tele-collection process across multiple locations.
Your primary objective will be to manage the performance of the collections team and develop strategies to ensure that the team meets and sustains optimal performance levels.
To achieve this, you should possess a deep understanding of debt collection core levers and operations, as well as the ability to implement and deliver on current and future strategies.
Collaboration with key stakeholders such as Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Sales will be crucial in achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to control overdue account flow rates and manage delinquency levels within specified parameters.
- Oversee the entire tele-collection process, including pre and post-delinquency stages, formulate strategies for overdue collection, and review collection Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Lead forecasting activities related to budget estimation, annual targets, cost projections, manpower requirements, and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and audits.
- Evaluate cost-benefit analysis of proposed new strategies, create a talented pool of individuals through succession planning, and develop a roadmap for high-performing team members.
- Enhance agent and team leader skill sets through necessary training and coaching programs.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
You should also have a deep understanding of debt collection operations, strategic planning, and team management.
