The Autonomous Vehicle Programme Office (AVPO) spearheads the national effort to deploy autonomous vehicles (AVs) in Singapore.
We are seeking passionate individuals who are keen to play a role in shaping an AV-centric future land transport landscape.
This involves driving implementation of AV shuttle service deployment in different edge towns, ensuring all requirements from key stakeholders are met.
Working closely with industry players ensures timely clearance of AV imports, delivery of AVs on the ground and testing of AV shuttle services meeting tight timelines.
You will also work closely with corporate communications to align with public announcements, roadshows, campaigns, and workshops.
Beyond these tasks, you will propose, review and fine-tune AV shuttle service routes for edge towns and conduct site surveys for operation feasibility.
Aligning AV shuttle service routes with internal stakeholders requires alignment on long-term transport plans such as MRT and future bus services.
You will present proposed service plans and implementation updates to senior and top management.
In this role, knowledge in Engineering or related fields is essential, along with strong project management skills.
Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and working in cross-functional teams are crucial.
Strong writing and presentation skills, with attention to detail, are necessary.
Proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous.
A proactive and goal-oriented individual with at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management and medium to large-scale projects is required.
Engaging multiple internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to listen empathetically, collaborate and drive desired outcomes, is essential.
Experience in policy development or strategic planning would be advantageous for insight into AV route planning.
