Job Opportunity

A prominent organization is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join their infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and VMware technologies, with hands-on experience in managing, provisioning, and supporting virtualized environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers (RHEL).
  • Manage, provision, and support VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter.
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Implement and maintain system security, patching, and compliance in line with CIS benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, including application-to-database connectivity problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
