Specialist Educator for Students with Autism

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Exceptional Education Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with autism by delivering exceptional education services.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students with autism.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality education and care for students.
- Plan and write Individualized Education Plan (IEP) reports, records, and documentation.
- Guide and coach Teacher Aides to ensure seamless delivery of educational services.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Recognised Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant field.
- Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education is preferred.
- 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics is mandatory.
- Preferably 3 years of experience at primary level.
- Familiarity with national curriculum and passion for teaching.
- Experience in teaching children and youths with autism will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality education services to students with autism.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
- Provide guidance and support to Teacher Aides.
