Special Education Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with autism, using a variety of teaching strategies to meet their diverse learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, and be committed to providing quality education and care to our students.

  • Deliver clear and effective lessons using a range of relevant teaching strategies for students with autism.
  • Play an important role in the planning and development of curriculum and programmes to facilitate student learning.
  • Exhibit a deep commitment to the holistic education and development of students.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and with parents in providing quality education and care for the students.

Key Responsibilities:

Our Special Education Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Planning and writing IEP lesson plans, reports, records, and documentation.
  • Guiding and coaching Teacher Aides.
  • Working closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and programmes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised degree or polytechnic diploma.
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education (preferable).
  • 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics is mandatory.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience at primary level.
  • Familiarity with national curriculum.
  • Demonstrate passion in teaching.
