Support Staff for Special Education

Job Description:

  • Assist teachers in delivering high-quality educational programs to students with special needs.
  • Support students with autism by providing individualized care and assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement student behavior plans and progress reports.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education or related field.
  • Prior experience as a Teacher Aide or in teaching is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children with autism and their families.
  • Strong passion for working with special needs students and desire to learn about autism.
