Job Title: Application Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Team Lead to join our team at Maybank Singapore. As a key member of our application development team, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our Core Banking application.

Responsibilities:
  • Application Development and Maintenance: Lead the development and maintenance of our Core Banking application, ensuring that it meets the required quality and functionality standards.
  • Team Management: Manage and guide a team of application developers to produce high-quality deliverables within project scope and timeline.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with various project teams, including application vendors, internal application technical teams, and application testers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions that meet business needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and escalate application risks and issues to Project Management for resolution.
Requirements:
  • Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years' technical experience in IBM AS/400, DB/2, RPG, SQLRPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CL, and CLLE programming.
  • Core Banking Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Silverlake Integrated Banking System (SIBS), covering BWCIF and/or Loans module.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and good stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and able to work under tight project schedules, with a good track record in managing critical Core Banking application day-to-day operations and problem-solving within short turnaround times.
