Job Title:

Senior Development Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to support the execution of strategic growth objectives. This role is pivotal in enhancing development deal administration, improving team efficiency, and driving reporting and analytical functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in drafting and tracking development strategies, including progress reporting for various markets and business models.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports, including financial reconciliations, approvals, terminations, and competitive benchmarking.
  3. Act as a point of contact for development systems, ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and training team members.
  4. Maintain risk registers, analyse retention trends, and prepare reports for committees and senior leadership.
  5. Provide strategic and administrative support to senior leadership in formulating and executing growth plans.
  6. Organise and facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation and meeting notes.
  7. Assist in preparing documents, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes.
  8. Draft and design proposals and presentations for stakeholders.
  9. Collaborate with marketing teams to create and maintain development marketing collateral.
  10. Maintain updated knowledge of brand portfolios and industry trends to position the organisation competitively.
  11. Manage records, including pitch materials, reports, and industry insights.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 2–3 years in development, finance, strategy, hospitality, or related fields, preferably with regional exposure.
  3. Excellent analytical, research, and reporting capabilities.
  4. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools.
  5. Basic financial modelling knowledge.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across varying management levels.
  7. Good initiative and ability to anticipate business needs.
  8. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Willingsness to travel within the region.
