Job Description:

As a Marine Assurance Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's Safety Management System is up-to-date and monitored. This includes managing the Quality System for offshore activities, which involves crew, POAC, and vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory requirements during audits.
  • Review audit reports to drive continuous improvements in the auditing process.
  • Manage marine assurance budgets effectively.
  • Develop and implement projects as directed by management.
  • Regularly review and improve vessel technical inspection processes.
  • Maintain open communication channels with vessels and management.


Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Maritime studies or equivalent, preferably with 2 years of sailing experience as a 2nd Engineer/Chief Officer.
  • Technological proficiency and logical process development skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of rules and regulations governing vessels' management.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and collaborate with teams.
