Marine Quality Assurance Position

We are seeking a highly skilled QA professional to fill a critical role in our shipyard operations. As a Marine Quality Assurance Executive, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality across our maritime endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with industry standards
  • Review and update Quality Management System (QMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) manuals, procedures, and forms to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures, providing guidance and support to teams as needed
  • Plan and conduct internal audits for ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 as scheduled, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Manage third-party certification audits for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and BizSafe STAR, maintaining strong relationships with auditors and stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in ISO 9001:2015 QMS, with experience in implementing and maintaining quality systems
  • Technical inspection and report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively
  • Experience in organizational performance management and quality systems management, with a proven track record of improving processes and outcomes
  • Leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high standards
