Job Responsibilities- Follow orders and advice instructed by Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to perform job tasks following directions.
- Adapt to business needs and be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Remain focused and complete one task before switching to the next.
- Follow work list assigned by Chef de Partie, completed within acceptable time frames.
- Attend and participate in company trainings, embracing learning opportunities with a positive attitude and adhere to company philosophy.
- Work calmly and efficiently while promoting good working relations in the culinary/pastry/bakery department.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and take pride in one's work, reflected in the product produced for guests.
- Adhere to company policies and statutory requirements regarding health and safety, sanitation, and fire procedures.
- Report to culinary management any maintenance defects using proper procedures.
- Maintain high standards of grooming and ensure good customer relations, especially in public areas.
- Report to work on time as per schedules and report any sickness or absence using correct procedures.
- Monitor food production to ensure compliance with recipes and specifications.
- Ensure food quality according to standards, maintaining sanitation and FIFO practices.
- Store all food products properly in appropriate containers and refrigeration units.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all culinary work areas and ensure stations are cleaned after every service.
- Use equipment safely and instruct colleagues on proper use.
A degree/diploma in Culinary Arts, Patisserie, or Bakery Experience is required. 1-3 years of experience in culinary arts, pastry, or bakery professions is preferred.
Competencies- Ability to identify different raw materials and differentiate cuisines.
- Basic cooking and sanitation knowledge.
- Monitoring basic cooking techniques and knife skills.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Willingness to work shifts.
