Job Title: Construction Contract Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Contract Specialist to join our team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform quantity take-off and evaluate construction contracts to ensure they meet client expectations.
  • Evaluate and recommend awarding construction contracts.
  • Participate in site meetings with clients, architects, and consultants to administer projects effectively.
  • Assist project managers in contractual and costing matters, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures.
  • Prepare valuations, pricing, and agreements for contract variations, process claims, and monitor cash flows.
  • Verify subcontractors'/suppliers' monthly progressive claims, obtain approval, and prepare documents.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in construction contracting and contract administration.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as construction management, civil engineering, or architecture.
  • Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
