Grid Resilience Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Grid Resilience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in upholding Singapore's world-class grid reliability and contributing towards a sustainable energy future.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves managing high-voltage equipment maintenance, performing site management, and supervising contractors. You will be responsible for carrying out tasks such as assisting engineers with equipment fault repairs, attending to customers' feedbacks, and preparing contingency plans.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist engineers in high voltage equipment maintenance and fault repairs
  • Perform site management and supervise contractors
  • Carry out 6.6kV or low voltage switching, load transfers, and safe isolation of high voltage equipment
  • Attend to customers' feedbacks and equipment alarm and fault
  • Plan and implement various works programmes according to budget provisions and schedules
  • Prepare and collate information for monthly reports
  • Ensure records are filed properly and data are updated promptly in systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Diploma in a relevant Engineering field from any recognised Polytechnic in Singapore
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in power-related fields (preferred)
  • Knowledge in electrical low voltage network (advantageous)
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Timeliness and good management of multiple tasks
  • Able to work independently and as a team member
  • Good observation and analytical skills
  • Responsible and take ownership of tasks assigned
