We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Architect to join our team at Mendix. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of our low-code platform.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Digital Transformation Programs: Design and deliver financially quantified Digital Transformation Programs and Project Services propositions in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform for Customers and Prospects.
- Lead Client Digital Transformation: Lead our clients through their digital transformation in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform, providing expert guidance and support throughout the process.
- Implement Business and Technology Solutions: Implement solutions to business and technology challenges and recommend creative approaches to solving clients' business problems using Mendix methodologies.
- Manage Client Centers of Excellence: Manage and deliver the creation of a client's Mendix Center of Excellence, leveraging agile to drive sustainable implementation and deployment of the Mendix Low-code Platform.
- Evaluate and Track Business Benefits: Deliver baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate, track and articulate the value realization of Customer business benefits in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform.
- Provide Architectural Guidance: Advising on how to best leverage the Mendix Low-code Platform, providing architectural 'deep dive' workshops to support customers in achieving their goals.
- Support Customer Success: Supporting Customers, as well as Channel Partners and (Global) System Integrators, in enabling them to become self-sufficient with the Mendix Low-code Platform.
- Train and Enable Customers: Train customers and partners to bring them to the next level using Mendix way, empowering them to achieve their business objectives.
- Lead Agile Implementations: Motivating clients with the values and principals of a Scrum/Agile led implementations with Mendix, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to Architecture and Development: Being hands-on, and playing an intrinsic part of the Architecture and Development process using the Mendix Low-code Platform, contributing to the preparation and execution of multiple phases.
- Mendix Expertise: 5+ years of being Mendix Advanced or Expert Certified is a mandatory requirement.
- Software Development Experience: 5+ Years' software development experience encompassing front-end, back-end, cloud automation and orchestration, with strong knowledge of microservices and container technologies.
- Low-Code Development Experience: 4+ Years' development experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Mendix or other low code platforms or full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python,.Net, or C++ etc.
- Frontend Development Skills: Developed frontend user interfaces using angular HTML, CSS, Sass and JavaScript frameworks such as React/Angular, jQuery.
- Cloud and Security Experience: Familiarity with single-sign on processes; OAuth2 and/or CAS or SAML experience a plus.
- Database and Cloud Experience: Proficient in one or more of Data design, development, and optimization of Relational database/SQL, PostgreSQL etc, and cloud native deployment with CI/CD Pipelines like [Git/SVN, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps].
- Technical and Business Communication: Proficient in technical/business communication - articulating the solution design to customers.
- Cloud Platform Experience: Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure.
- Leadership and Change Management: Demonstrated track record of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with the ability to work with senior level executives across multiple business lines and regions.
- Agile and Innovation Experience: Agile Enterprise Coach or Scrum certification is desirable. Experience in driving organization wide change management initiatives, driving innovation, and organization wide change management initiatives.
- Business Acumen and Communication: Capable of applying knowledge of the business and the marketplace to advance the organizations goals, having foresight of possibilities, and translating them into breakthrough strategies.
- Problem-Solving and Liaison Skills: Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information, to effectively solve problems. Liaison and consultative skills: negotiating skills within a context of high political sensitivity and conflicting interests.
- Adaptability and Leadership: Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and non-technical experience.
- Communication and Decision-Making: Strong writing, mentoring, decision-making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
- Matrixed Organizational Environment: Ability to operate in an heavily matrixed organizational environment.
- Education and Travel: Bachelor or Master's degree required. Ability to Travel to APAC countries on project basis.
