As an Engineering Equipment Leader, you will oversee the development and implementation of engineering solutions for airport ground support equipment. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure successful delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement and refurbishment programs for ground support and specialty vehicles.
  • Develop and oversee equipment specifications, manufacturing quality, and factory acceptance tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project risks, sustainability, and refurbishment activities.
  • Monitor program performance, budgets, and timelines.
  • Lead technical evaluation committees for procurement decisions.
  • Optimize equipment performance and operator feedback to enhance safety, quality, and total cost of ownership.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in technical and management roles.
  • Proven track record in large-scale procurement, refurbishment, or maintenance projects.
  • Experience in aviation ground operations, ground handling, aviation maintenance, transport, or industrial fleet management.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, electronic systems, engines, electrification, predictive maintenance, automation, or autonomous systems.
  • Class 3 driving license is an asset.
