**Senior Legal Counsel - Markets & Securities Services Role**

About the Role:

This is a high-profile opportunity to join our legal team as a Senior Legal Counsel, providing expert advice and guidance to senior management and business functions across various countries and territories.

You will be part of a diverse and dynamic team, offering a range of legal skills, jurisdictional experience, and practice specialisms. Your role will involve providing comprehensive legal support to the Global Markets (GM) business, including advising on GM products and initiatives, liaising with external counsel, and collaborating with other functions and teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to senior management and business functions.
  • Liaise with external counsel and collaborate with other functions and teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Participate in local and regional projects and initiatives, contributing to the development of digital platforms, services, and products.
  • Maintain and develop positive working relationships with business managers, stakeholders, and the Global Legal function.
Requirements:
  • A qualified lawyer with at least 7 years' relevant experience, either in-house or private practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent negotiation and drafting skills, and the ability to handle complex issues under pressure.
