Job Overview

The role of an Electrician Technician is a crucial part of ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Electrician Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to electrical maintenance and construction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Task Planning and Execution: Prepare lists of work, materials, tools, and machinery required for assigned tasks. Pre-plan and prioritize work for efficient execution.
  • Inspections and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough inspections before and after work is completed to identify potential issues and troubleshoot electrical faults and trips.
  • Communication and Updates: Communicate with clients as needed and update supervisors on work progress and completion status.
  • Project Operations: Assist in project site operations and ensure timely completion of electrical work activities.

Requirements:

  • NITEC or equivalent in relevant FM discipline with 3+ years experience in maintenance and electrical construction.
  • Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Certificate Grade 7.
  • Registered Licensed Electrical Worker (Grade 7) with Singapore Energy Market Authority (EMA).
  • Able to work in PUB settings.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cable sizing, local electrical codes, and electrical loading.
  • Safety Awareness: Awareness of general electrical hazards and safety knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and trips.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
