Our team is seeking a skilled Network Security Specialist to join our ranks. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the company's commitment to offshore energy and sustainable marine solutions.

As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our networks and systems. Your expertise in designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols will be instrumental in protecting our systems and data from threats and vulnerabilities.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in IT, preferably holding a degree in Computer Science or related field, and possessing relevant certifications such as CCNP or Security+. Experience with technologies like Cisco, Juniper, and Microsoft is also essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the IT manager in ensuring a functional and secure IT network and support for site and vessels.
  • Designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect systems and data.
  • Monitoring networks and systems for suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, and breaches.
  • Conducting assessments and simulating attacks to test security measures.
  • Investigating threats, identifying root causes, and implementing measures to contain and prevent damage.
  • Supporting external network management and cybersecurity service providers to meet SLA targets.
  • Managing vendor relationships and procurement of equipment and services.
  • Implementing and maintaining network security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Monitoring network performance and resolving issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Managing network projects from planning to documentation.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of network resources.
  • Providing periodic cybersecurity reports to management outlining security posture, threats, and mitigation strategies.
