Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Job

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Cybersecurity Specialist. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing network security strategies and policies to safeguard our infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices. You will also perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security risks. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and industry standards. You should have proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices. Hands-on experience with network monitoring and security analytics tools is also essential.

You will work closely with our IT team to ensure seamless integration of security solutions with existing systems. Providing technical support and training to end-users on security best practices is also a key responsibility.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in network security engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and security analytics tools
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
