Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and delivering goods to customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify all incoming/outgoing items against documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Ensure that all items are properly handled, recorded, and in good condition throughout the entire warehouse process.
  • Perform regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy across all systems and platforms.
  • Organize and maintain proper inventory placement within the warehouse to optimize storage space and reduce waste.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage warehouse operations and teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.
