Job Title: Construction Planning Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Planning Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various departments, including Costing, M&E, and Business, on tender requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • To coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that proposed plannings are in accordance with drawings/specifications/authority’s requirement.
  • To work up a suitable Microsoft Project schedule (or equivalent) for tender projects, showcasing all proper work sequence from commencement to TOP.
  • To study and propose feasible Temporary Site Facilities and suitable construction sequences for Structural and Architectural components, taking into account authority’s requirements and contract specifications.
  • To assist/provide technical support for the tender team on queries from consultants.
  • To work with Project teams on various proposals during the tender stage.
  • To check tender documents/specifications/drawings and highlight any discrepancies or value engineering/key items that need to be noted by the tender team.
  • To participate in safety site inspections to check on site safety/workmanship.
  • Proficient in using software such as Microsoft office/Microsoft project/AutoCAD.
  • To review construction previews submitted by project teams and coordinate with them to get Japan HQ approval.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in construction site work and planning.
