Forensic Accountant Role

This position involves conducting thorough reviews and analyses of financial statements, corporate records, and accounting systems to assess their integrity and reliability.

The ideal candidate will possess a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) and at least 2-4 years of experience in forensic accounting or transaction services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the credibility and accuracy of allegations presented in adverse equity research reports
  • Employ advanced investigative techniques to identify potential fraudulent conduct
  • Highlight financial crime and fraud risks to investments from differences in market perception of financial statements versus the objective, underlying reality
  • Provide clear, evidence-based insights for dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and risk management
  • Give opinions on the suitability of investments from an accounting point of view
  • Support due diligence teams in assessing private market investments' financial statements, accounting, and financial reporting systems
