Key Responsibilities

">
  • Ensure efficient and professional security service while maintaining safety and security in accordance with hotel standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in planning and organizing the Security Officer's roster and duties.
  • Be in charge of the Hotel Security Control Room and day-to-day operations.
  • Manage access points to ensure all entries are authorized.
  • Maintain vigilance at pass counters where colleagues, part-timers, casual laborers, vendors, contractors, and visitors check in.
  • Manage the Visitor Management System for visitors, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage the Casual Labor system for casual laborers and part-timers.
  • Monitor CCTV coverage within the hotel property and highlight any issues.
  • Perform static lobby/convention centre coverage and duty.
  • Perform roving security and safety clocking patrols within and around the hotel premises.
  • Patrol guest floors and the heart of the house.
  • Enforce tasks as assigned and be deployed as per the schedule.
  • Ensure security systems are working; raise maintenance reports when needed in collaboration with the Assistant Security Manager.
  • Coordinate Night Transport for colleagues.
  • Respond to security, safety, and medical emergencies as soon as possible.
  • Be part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) to respond to emergencies.
  • Conduct inventory checks of keys and passes.
  • Handle Loss & Found findings, reports, and inquiries.
  • Provide lift control and VIP support.
  • Perform First Aid/CPR/AED if required.
  • Respond to and resolve safe box issues without delay.
  • Conduct crowd control and ushering duties.
  • Gather and document information and facts when responding to security, safety, and medical emergencies.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by hotel management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in English – strong reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Certified in CPR, First Aid, Firefighting, and Crowd Control.
  • Holds a valid PLRD Security Licence (or able to obtain one).
  • Background in Law Enforcement and Security – previous experience in police force, military police, or as a security officer.
  • Preferably experienced in hotel or hospitality security settings.
