Global Account Manager Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Global Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in global accounts, fostering and developing CXO-level customer relationships to enhance customer retention.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying opportunities for growth, including upselling and cross-selling products and services to increase sales revenue. They will also be able to identify and address customers' IT&T needs through detailed account planning aiming to secure bids and innovative deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in global accounts
- Foster and develop CXO-level customer relationships to enhance customer retention
- Identify opportunities for growth, including upselling and cross-selling products and services to increase sales revenue
- Identify and address customers' IT&T needs through detailed account planning
- Work closely with various internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to account management
- Lead negotiations for contracts and pricing with global clients
- Proactively identify and address issues that may impact client satisfaction or account performance
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of technology trends and differentiate the unique value delivered through our offerings within this domain
- Achieve high customer satisfaction with decision-makers and play a key ambassador role
- Meet financial KPIs and develop strategic plans
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree with 5 or more years of sales experience
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in a global context
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of ICT and telecommunications preferred
- Sales-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth
- Possess strong leadership skills to guide and influence teams and clients effectively
