Lead Asset Engineer Job

You will lead a team to work closely with design and project engineers to deliver rolling stock and depot equipment with Design and Build for Operations and Maintenance (DBfOM) principles to ensure their operability and maintainability.

You will also lead a team to work with operators to manage the life cycle of our rolling stock and depot equipment assets in terms of performance, condition, refurbishments, and renewal, so that our rail network can achieve high reliability and availability targets to meet the needs of our commuters.

About This Role

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our rail network. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of rolling stock and depot equipment assets, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our design and project engineers to develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of our commuters.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing requirements and providing inputs on DBfOM and Life Cycle Management for delivery and management of rolling stock and depot equipment assets
  • Overseeing the development of new and existing lines
