Lead Rolling Stock Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled engineering professional to lead our rolling stock engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of rolling stock and depot equipment assets across our rail network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for the design, development, and maintenance of rolling stock and depot equipment assets.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and stakeholders to ensure that all projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the life cycle of rolling stock and depot equipment assets, including performance, condition, refurbishments, and renewal.
  • Review requirements and provide inputs on Design and Build for Operations and Maintenance (DBfOM) principles to ensure operability and maintainability.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies and innovations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our rolling stock and depot equipment assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in rolling stock engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of rolling stock and depot equipment assets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
