Job Overview

This is a key role for a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Lead responsible to oversee the effective operation of 24X7 security operations support services.

  • Develop and implement plans to coordinate monthly duty rosters for site teams.
  • Ensure shift functions are covered if resources are absent.
  • Generate report dashboards for technical analysis using Microsoft Excel/Power BI.
  • Run operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure security operations operate effectively.
  • Responsible for site monthly reports and documentation submissions.
  • Onboard/offboard manpower resources within one month.
  • Submit timely billing documentation, including monthly timesheets and service reports.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure security devices or apps are patched and firmware versions upgraded in accordance with industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security events, identifying potential threats, conducting investigations, and responding to security incidents.
  • Work closely with end-client SOC teams to ensure timely and effective detection, containment, and mitigation of security incidents.
  • Support security developments such as evolving threats, new or enhanced security controls, or changes to technical infrastructure.
  • Ensure all Infrastructure-related procedures, operation guides, architecture diagrams, hardening baselines, and security metrics documents are reviewed annually or updated whenever necessary.
  • Strengthen customer cyber security postures against cyber threats through vulnerability management, incident response, and analysis, threat hunting, and security operations.
  • Manage customer cyber security operations and handle reporting and handling of cyber security incidents.
  • Perform vulnerability management leveraging Managed Vulnerability Management Systems (MVMS).
  • Conduct daily checks on Endpoint Detection Response/Database Activity Monitoring dashboards for any abnormalities.
  • Onboard subscribed servers and infrastructure devices to MVMS.
  • Provide supporting documents for audits.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly vulnerability assessments for servers and network equipment.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements and industry standards.
