Strategic HR Leader for Regional Growth

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to spearhead our human resources function across the APAC region.

About this Role:

This key leadership position is responsible for driving strategic advice to senior leadership, managing stakeholders, and overseeing core HR operations to facilitate business growth and compliance.

  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies aligned with regional goals;
  • Provide strategic input and collaborate closely with senior leadership and stakeholders;
  • Cultivate a high-performing team by promoting employee engagement, growth, and efficiency through targeted initiatives and projects;
  • Manage regional payroll and oversee compliance with local labour laws and regulations;
  • Lead regional compensation and benefits initiatives and alignment;
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to align human resource strategies with business objectives and workforce planning, including succession planning;
  • Offer guidance and support to various business units and projects for resource and budget planning;
  • Oversee other assigned functions outside of HR, such as office management, quality, and vendor management.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field;
  • At least 10 years of experience, with 5 years of leading a team;
  • Strong experience managing regional HR teams and functions;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage strategy and operations;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage different projects and objectives;
  • Strong organisational skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
