Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Program Developer to join our team.

About the Role:

The Academic Program Developer will be responsible for delivering academic programs to various grade levels as assigned by the Principal and timetabled by the school. The role requires a high level of organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive annual programme of work, create engaging lesson plans, and maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student progress, provide timely feedback, and adhere to established marking and moderation policies.
  • General Administration: Perform invigilation, supervision, and proxy duties, research resources, and set high expectations for student achievement.

Pastoral Care:

  • Monitor student attendance records and address social and emotional needs.
  • Report concerns to the Head of Department or Senior Leadership Team and seek support from colleagues when necessary.

Performance Management and Professional Development:

  • Participate in regular lesson observations and performance appraisals.
  • Represent the school with professionalism and adhere to terms and conditions of employment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
