Optimizing Manufacturing Operations Through Automation Expertise

You have a unique opportunity to drive business excellence as an Industrial Automation Project Manager. This challenging role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation systems on the manufacturing level to optimize production processes.
- Key responsibilities include reporting on project status, achievements, and lessons learned.
- You will share expertise with team members and oversee the maturity and maintenance of installations.
- Candidates must contribute to CAPEX planning, carry out feasibility studies, and ensure optimal functionality of Industrial IT/OT systems.
- Maintaining an overview of systems and software applications is essential, as is acting as the first point of contact for production facility outages caused by disruptors.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. You will train employees on system usage and deploy temporary engineers/consultants when necessary. The position involves 30-50% travel and reports to the Director of Process and Industrial Projects.
Requirements- A solid understanding of automation systems and tools is required, along with familiarity with different automation technologies.
- Candidates must possess strong project management skills, effective communication abilities, and a continuous learning mindset.
- Problem-solving skills, experience in the automation field, and knowledge of relevant directives and norms are also essential.
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical/Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in MS Office tools and fluency in English and the local language.
