Job Overview

As a senior professional in accounting operations, you will oversee a team of assistants and seniors to ensure the smooth execution of projects. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting principles, with experience in managing book-keeping and preparing management accounts. Proficiency in accounting software is also essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of accounting professionals to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve project goals
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and notes to the accounts
  • Develop custom reporting packages based on client requirements
  • Support clients during audits by providing necessary documentation and information
  • Manage cash flow and payment processing to ensure timely payments
  • Prepare and file GST returns within set deadlines
  • Process payroll, including calculations and disbursements
  • Handle client portfolios by assigning jobs to team members and managing billings and debtors

Requirements:

  • Degree in accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
  • At least 4 years of experience in BPO (Client Accounting) environment
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Meticulous with good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore's accounting, GST, and payroll requirements
