Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Business Insights Analyst. This role requires the ability to frame problem statements, formulate study design & methodology, and acquire data from various sources. The successful candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to draw insights across multiple data sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Frame problem statements based on business cases and formulate study design & methodology
  • Acquire and process data from various sources for analysis using econometric and/or data science techniques
  • Interpret and draw implications for the organisation from the findings
  • Analyse how global addressable market, industry trends and competitive position affect the organisation's health
  • Present the organisation's business sensing and health in relation to statistics to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical capabilities with ability to draw insights across multiple data sources
  • Ability to engage and influence internal/external stakeholders to gain and act on insights
  • Ability to work adaptively under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to clean and analyse data using Excel and Tableau to derive actionable insights
  • Academic background in economics/econometrics and/or related disciplines preferred
  • 3-4 years of relevant working experience in a public sector agency or other large organisations preferred

Working Environment:

Our team works closely with senior management to develop content for discussion at key platforms. We also set the tone for internal and external communications, and stakeholder engagement.
