Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Storage Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT team. This individual will be responsible for the technical management of storage systems, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and standards.

  • Serve as a key member of the IT team, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of storage infrastructure projects in APAC regions.
  • Develop and maintain configuration standards and design guidelines for storage systems, management systems, and required software.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to deployment teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures followed by the organization, focusing on storage resource allocation and migration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams during project stages, including APS, business, and ITP teams.

Governance and Compliance

  • Support storage vulnerability assessments, baseline checking, and storage hardening initiatives.
  • Generate regular health-check/dashboard/security compliance reports as required.

Technical Requirements

  • Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills:
    • Minimum 5 years of system support experience on enterprise storage platforms.
    • Expertise in EMC PMAX/VMAX & ECS, Pure storage, NetApp, Brocade switches, and CleverSafe technologies.
    • Deep understanding of storage hardware and system services, including volume management operations, file system management, data migration, snapshot, and replication technologies, connectivity technology.
    • Familiarity with storage upgrade processes and hands-on experience in performing storage code upgrades.
  • Other Value-Added Competencies:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Minimum 3 years of project management experience will be an asset.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • SAN management at intermediate to advanced level.
    • NAS management at intermediate to advanced level.
    • Object storage management at intermediate to advanced level.
    • ITIL foundation for service management certification.
