Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage and Backup Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining robust storage and backup systems for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable storage solutions using IBM SAN Storage, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Veritas NetBackup.
  • Configure and troubleshoot complex storage topologies, including zoning and data domain appliances.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage and backup systems with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) and Windows Server administration.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to storage and backup infrastructure.

Requirements
  • 3-7 years of experience in storage and backup administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM SAN Storage, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Veritas NetBackup.
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery concepts, RPO/RTO, and data protection best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Bonus Skills
  • Experience with other enterprise backup tools (e.g., Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity).
  • Knowledge of cloud backup/storage integration (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Exposure to automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).
  • IT certifications such as IBM Storage, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), Veritas NetBackup, EMC Data Domain Specialist, Microsoft, or VMware.
