Job Opportunity: Storage Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementation, and management of storage solutions;
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of storage devices;
  • Backup and recovery procedures using Veeam Backup & Replication;
  • Knowledge of data protection best practices and disaster recovery concepts;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Technical Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in Storage & Backup administration;
  • Proficiency in IBM SAN Storage configuration and zoning;
  • Experience with Dell EMC Data Domain appliances and Tape Library systems;
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting;
  • Good understanding of Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other enterprise backup tools (e.g., Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity);
  • Knowledge of cloud backup/storage integration (Azure, AWS, GCP);
  • Exposure to automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform);
  • IT certifications such as IBM Storage, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), Veritas NetBackup, EMC Data Domain Specialist, Microsoft, or VMware.
