Cloud Wintel Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cloud Solutions Professional to manage and support Windows-based environments on AWS.

About the Role:
  • Provision, configure, and administer Windows Server environments on AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, IAM)
  • Perform regular maintenance, backup, and recovery of Windows servers hosted in AWS
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies in cloud and hybrid configurations
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, SSM)
  • Migrate on-premises Windows workloads to AWS using AWS Migration tools
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, AWS CLI, or similar scripting tools
  • Troubleshoot OS-level and AWS infrastructure issues (e.g., performance bottlenecks, network issues)
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and organizational policies
  • Develop clear documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Apply ITIL principles to patch management, incident resolution, and infrastructure monitoring
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and/or other scripting languages
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
