Job Summary

TANTRACO ENTERPRISE PTE LTD is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing automated packaging machines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and repair a wide range of packaging machines and automation equipment
  • Travel to various locations in Singapore to perform maintenance and repairs
  • Work independently or with minimal supervision, and at times in a team of two
  • Communicate effectively with China engineers for technical discussions and clarifications
  • Request spare-parts via email and WeChat
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with automated systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a technician role
  • Previous experience with similar equipment is highly desirable
  • Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of mechanical working logic
  • Knowledge of PLC programming is an asset
  • Class 3 driving license preferred, Class 2 license with own bike is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
