Job Summary
The Junior Quantity Surveyor role at The Supreme HR Advisory involves sourcing sub-contractors and vendors, carrying out quantities taking off during tendering, evaluating quotations, and preparing subcontract documents. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. A degree in quantity surveying or a related field is required, with some experience in a similar role preferred but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source sub-contractors and vendors for quotations during tendering
• Carry out quantities taking off during tendering
• Evaluate quotations and prepare costing summaries for approval prior to tender submission
• Prepare subcontract documents incorporating all contract and technical requirements
• Prepare procurement and sub-contract schedules
• Assist the Contract Manager, Deputy Contract Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, and Project Manager in negotiating and awarding sub-contracts
• Ensure submission of bonds and warranties from sub-contractors
• Prepare payment claims and provide substantiation for variation orders for valuation
• Prepare monthly payment certificates and check invoices against delivery orders
• Prepare, update, and maintain records for Architect Instructions and Variation Orders on a monthly basis
• Update and file the material price list
• Prepare project cost summary reports
• Prepare and update the project contact list
