Test Development Professional">

Hardware engineers are responsible for designing and developing test equipment to ensure the quality of integrated circuits. As a hardware engineer, you will work on developing test programs for digital, power management, RF, and mixed-signal integrated circuits using automated test equipment (ATE) for wafer sort and packaged ICs.

  • Design and implement test hardware load boards and probe cards
  • Collaborate with design engineers on first silicon debug, device characterization, test program bring-up, and production release activities
  • Debug digital test patterns and device characterization across PVT (process, voltage, and temperature)
  • Contribute to production release, yield improvement, and test time reduction
  • Operate automatic wafer probers and test handler equipment
  • Interact closely with various teams, including hardware, product engineering, design engineering, quality engineering, and foundry engineering

Requirements:

  • Degree in electronics or electrical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of digital and analog electronics, with proficiency in Python scripting desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to perform hands-on work within a lab environment
