Equipment Installation and Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
- Install, configure, and commission environmental testing equipment at customer sites.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on Weiss Technik equipment.
- Perform calibration on Weiss Technik products according to ISO requirements.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
- Conduct technical training sessions for clients.
- Accurately document all service activities.
- Maintain and manage tools, test equipment, parts, and assets.
- Assist with testing equipment functionality and performance.
- Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure availability of critical components.
- Adhere to company and regulatory safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field) with HVAC certification is a plus.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or repair, preferably in the environmental simulation or testing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical processes.
- IT competency in Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive and Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with PLCs and control systems is a plus.
