Family Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead family development initiatives and empower socially disadvantaged low-income families and communities to achieve self-sufficiency.

This role involves collaborating with community partners and government agencies to create a safe and supportive environment for children and adults in the community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing effective casework and counseling interventions, asset building with families, and engaging in community-centric practices to drive social change.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • A strong belief in the intrinsic strengths and resources of people and communities that can be harnessed for family and community well-being.
  • Knowledge and experience with social work interventions, social policies, and community engagement.
  • A relevant degree or postgraduate diploma in social work or related disciplines from recognized universities.
  • Accredited social worker status.
  • At least 2 years of relevant social work experience.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
