Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Specialist to join our Capital Market Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing level 1 and level 2 application support to business users, analyzing and managing incidents/problems/requests, and collaborating with the build team to assess and resolve problems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement application monitoring in coordination with the build team
  • Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains, handle user requests, and work closely with project, infrastructure, and production teams
  • Support overnight batches to ensure swift analysis and resolution of problems
  • Process and issue daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chains
  • Manage incidents and requests from business users and other IT teams
  • Analyze and manage incidents/problems/requests
  • Prepare and maintain knowledge base for each application in coordination with the build team and ops team
  • Collaborate with the build team to assess and follow up on problem resolution and contribute to the definition of long-term solutions

Qualifications and Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in support activity
  • ITIL certification or willingness to take the study
  • Exposure to Capital Markets applications (e.g. Summit, Kondor+, Murex…)
  • Knowledge in Capital Market FO/BO environment
  • Strong knowledge in XML, SQL, PL/SQL, MQ Series, CFT, and Control-M
  • Knowledge of monitoring solutions (e.g. ITRS Geneos)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Careful observance of standards and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical or troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, and excellent team player
  • Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management
  • Self-starter and ambitious

Education & Work Experience:

  • Junior to Intermediate level (min. 3 years)
  • Master's degree in relevant specialities

Shift Timings:

Person will have to work in shifts as support is requiring 24/6 Support.
