Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and execute debt products, including debt securities, syndicated loans, and project finance.
  • Formulate and undertake business development and origination functions, and coordinate interdepartmental liaisons to identify and establish credible business relationships with existing and new clientele.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation of pitch books and presentations, structuring and execution of debt securities, syndicated loans, or project finance, including due diligence, preparing information memoranda, liaison with rating agencies and regulatory authorities, and documentation.
  • Strengthen the market positioning of the department as a niche player in the debt capital market and key market leader in the loan syndication space, and develop sustainable business strategies to strengthen Islamic and sustainable finance capability and deal flow.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking/Debt Origination and Capital Markets.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with a strong networking base and leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player with strong mental agility and able to maintain good working relationships with people of all levels.
Qualifications:
  • Degree holder from a reputable institution of higher learning, with a minimum grade of second class upper, or a CGPA score of 3.5 and above, and/or professional qualification (e.g., CFA) or MBA.
