We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Port Operations Coordinator. This position involves coordinating and supporting vessel operations at port, ensuring smooth turnaround and compliance with port regulations and company standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience in ship boarding or port operations.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in ship boarding or port operations, good knowledge of dry bulk operations, strong communication and coordination skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
Key responsibilities include attending vessels at port, anchorage, berth or shipyard, coordinating cargo operational activities at the port, liaising with Terminal, MPA, ICA and various port service providers, arranging vessels arrival, departure and port formalities, preparing Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDA), coordinating with ship, port authorities and terminal operators, ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance, and reporting operational updates to the office team.
Work irregular hours including weekends and holidays are required for this position.
