Physiotherapist Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at Talent Trader Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physiotherapists to implement treatment plans for patients, ensuring effective and efficient care.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities with patients under the supervision of a physiotherapist, promoting optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Provide support in the application of modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Guide and educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home care programs, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Assist in the maintenance and organization of treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Monitor and record patient progress, providing regular updates to the supervising physiotherapist and contributing to the development of effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in the delivery of physiotherapy services, upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Physiotherapy or a related field, with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
  • Relevant experience in assisting physiotherapy treatments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, exercise protocols, and modalities, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of patients and colleagues.
  • Empathy and dedication towards patient care, with a commitment to delivering compassionate and personalized support.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as an assistant physiotherapist, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
