Operational Excellence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to help clients maximize value on their transactions. This role will provide you with the opportunity to drive process improvements and optimize operational performance.

This career path focuses on all aspects of transactional operations, including pre- and post-completion activities. You will conduct thorough due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise-wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations across various functional areas such as IT, Operations, Human Capital, and Backoffice functions.

You will work closely with a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve complex business challenges from strategy to execution.

  • Scope projects, manage deliverables, and project economics;
  • Perform detailed analysis of target data and practices regarding supply chain management, identifying key issues and opportunities for improvement;
  • Interact with target management, developing an understanding of the business supporting your analysis conclusions; Identify deal issues and propose solutions;
  • Produce reports and prepare summary sections presenting our views of risks and areas for improvement in supply chain and operations;
  • Manage and/or support the implementation of proposed solutions;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients during projects and overall business development efforts;
  • Continuously develop and improve our service offering to match market requirements;
  • Conduct risk management procedures, including drafting engagement letters and budgeting projects;
  • Contribute to team and firm growth through coaching and training other team members;
  • Participate in business development activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable university or foreign institution, preferably with specialization in engineering, supply chain, or operations management;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience combining managing roles in external consulting firms and industry experience in operational management roles, covering procurement, sales operations, manufacturing, supply chain management, strategic, and performance programs;
  • Quality assurance certification or industry-specific professional qualification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, APICS) is beneficial;
  • Experience in post-merger integration and/or divestiture projects is advantageous;
  • Excellent analytical skills are essential, with experience in data analytics a plus;
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, ideally with some level of financial accounting knowledge to link operational improvements to financial statements;
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills;
  • Innovative, confident, and mature, with good ability to create impactful presentations;
  • Collaborative team player able to work effectively under pressure and independently;
  • Willingness to travel.
